Postponed!! Auditing Ethereum Solidity Smart Contracts - Honeypots Postponed!!

  • Starfish Mission 1535 Mission St San Francisco, CA 94103 (map)
  • Unfortunately this event has been postponed until further notice.

In this workshop we will deep dive into more smart contract security vulnerabilities, specifically taking a look at smart contract Honeypots. What is an Ethereum smart contract honeypot? It's smart contract designed to look vulnerable, but when someone tries to exploit a potential vulnerability they will lose their Ether. In a sense you “hack the hackers”.

Are you interested in learning how to do security audits for Ethereum smart contracts written in Solidity? If so, you’ve come to the right place.

Join our Telegram channel here to stay up to date on good resources we provide, and be part of a community interested in auditing Ethereum Solidity smart contracts:

This workshop is designed for software engineers who want to learn the basics of Solidity and Ethereum Smart Contracts, with a particular emphasis on security and finding bugs in smart contracts. You'll learn how to make your own smart contracts more secure, as well as audit other peoples' smart contracts.

There is a huge demand for software engineers who know how to write secure smart contracts, as well as audit contracts written by others. We believe that the demand for this skillset will only continue to increase, and there are currently not enough auditors to go around.

To learn more about how I approach security audits from a high level read the following blog post:
