Every last Tuesday of the month, we'll be hosting speaker(s) or a panel session to highlight various projects and topics in the world of bitcoin. This month it's time to talk about stablecoins! What are the different ways they can work and what makes them so challenging to create? Join us for this very educational event, with presentations and an expert panel.

This months speaker(s) are:
Niklas Kunkel - Senior Developer at MakerDAO
MakerDAO is a leader in the stablecoin space having released Dai, an asset-backed decentralized stablecoin, back in December 2017. MakerDAO is committed to creating an open financial credit system that is universally accessible by all. Niklas is currently focused on building Maker's next-gen Oracle architecture.

Danny An - CEO and Co-founder at TrustToken
TrustToken is a platform for creating asset-backed tokens that you can easily buy and sell around the world. At the start of 2018, TrustToken launched its first product TrueUSD, which has grown to over $80M in market capitalization. TrustToken is backed by A16Z Crypto, BlockTower Capital, Danhua Capital, Founders Fund Angel, GGV Capital, Jump Capital, Slow Ventures, Stanford-StartX Fund, and others.
